ZAP EV to Use Wheel Motors

The UK's PML FlightLink Limited has been tapped to supply electric car marketer ZAP with efficient, high-power wheel motors for its electric vehicle program. ZAP says it secured PML's Hi-Pa Drive wheel motor technology to play a key role in the development of next generation electric cars, including a vehicle that ZAP reports it is developing with Lotus Engineering. The small British electrical engineering company has previously produced an electric Mini to prove the technology.
