ZENN Electric Car Unveiled
 Canadian electric car maker Feel Good Cars will unveil its all-new ZENN (Zero Emission No Noise) vehicle at the Clean Cities Congress and Expo in Phoenix, Arizona that runs from May 7th to 10th. As a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), also known as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV), the ZENN is limited to a top speed of 25 mph and is permitted to drive on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less. However, unlike other LSVs that are often open to the elements, the ZENN is fully enclosed. Doors with electric windows and locks, adjustable seats, a rear window defroster, and windshield wipers are all included to offer a driving experience closer to that of a full-size automobile.
Despite the extra amenities, the ZENN is still a lightweight at only 1,280 pounds. With the batteries in its 72-volt electrical system fully charged, the ZENN will go for approximately 35 miles before needing a recharge. The ZENN plugs into a regular wall socket, and will take four hours to recharge 80% of the way, or eight to nine hours for a full charge. The ZENN will be marketed to planned communities, urban commuters, auto share programs, and environmentally-sensitive areas such as parks. Pricing and distribution details have yet to be announced, but we’ll keep you posted.
